Nā kilo ao māiki

       Dr. Frank developed a coloring book series to further highlight the integration in her work between science and moʻolelo (story). She draw these books by hand infusing her mana (spiritual power) and aloha (love) into the artwork from her own experiences and relationships to the community or topic using imagery inspired from moʻolelo, place and even some of the dance moves. Some of the coloring books directly correlate with the #BOSSdancefriends episodes, and even feature images of the choreography from the dance to reinforce concepts.  Other coloring books evolved into physical teaching tools and reference resources for her students and collaborators, especially for outdoor workshops without access to power point or digital visualizations.
